Welcome to Beer City™!
Join us Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Centennial Park in Santa Ana for Beer City Half™ Orange County! See the sights, run the trails, and drink the brews. Beer City Festival is a full day of fun. Drink local and dig it!
Beer City Half™
Beer City OC starts in Centennial Park and runs along the Santa Ana River Trail through Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach (our hometown!). It includes a half marathon, 10k, and 5k distances. The Beer Stroll is a 1-mile walk for those who are mostly in it for the beer.
When you get home we will be there with tastes from a selection of great, local Orange County brewers.
You don't have to have been part of other Beer City races to have a great time. You also don't have to care for beer. This gathering is meant for everyone and it's made by runners, for runners. So come out for a great time with sunshine, running, beer, and celebrating.
Beat the Beast
Beat the Beast is our special beer mile where you race others and one of our Beer City Beasts. Drink 4 12-oz beers while running a mile. If the BEAST catches you, you're out of the race. Better move quickly! Which beast will appear in Orange County? Tune in to find out!
Beat the Beast takes place at 11am.
Shindig & The Beermazing Race!
Once the running and beer milin' is done, join us for SHINDIG, a Beer City party with music, food trucks, and games. Your ticket covers your first beer and is available at checkout when you register.
The Shindig is Beer City HQ for the afternoon with fun games like The Beermazing Race, which challenges you to visit 5 brewers between 1pm and 5pm to drink a pint and find the clues to your next taproom.
